Knowledge Management technologies have considerably evolved over last decade; moving from simple information technology to more elaborated system. Current research investigations clearly outline the strong connection between knowledge management, innovation capability, and adequate use of technologies. Engineering business constitutes a segment, where knowledge is considered as an important development asset. This sector is facing various challenges ranging from short time project delivering, cost reduction to environmental issues. Knowledge Industry management, aims at improving the ability of firms to execute business, manufacturing and logistic functions in a more effective way.
This session intend to bring together Academia and Practitioners in order to discuss the main challenges and opportunities in implementing a successful Knowledge Management Initiative fostering collaboration and Innovation in terms of Product, Service, and process improvement.
